Lion and sun two sided vintage style coin. These coins are replicas of middle eastern coins and unique, because they are two sided. The coins are expertly carved. The lion, sun and sword on the front as well as the script on the back are clear and well done.
Lion and Sun symbolic significance: The equation between lion and sun dates back centuries. But although it has appeared in many cultures dating back to the time of Egyptian Pharaohs, the Babylonians and Persian Dynasties, the motif took on more significance in the 12th century. Many Middle Eastern cultures like the Turks and Mongols began using it on coins, flags and Jewelry. The lion as the king of the jungle represents divine power and power of royalty. The sun was associated with the ancient god Mithra. It also refers to the Sun in the house of Leo, tracing back to the Babylonian.

Precious metals tarnish. For best results after use place jewelry in a sealed bag. For sterling silver you can use commercial silver polish and follow directions. However, oxidized silver should not be polished as it will change the black tones and de-color.
Gold plated sterling silver or gold plated brass cannot be polished. It is best to store and seal them in a fabric or plastic bag after use. If necessary you may wipe with a soft damp cloth.
It is best not to shower or swim with jewelry.
